OH MY GOD!!

Today supposed to be the day where I finally close May with a sweet memories and fires for my thesis writing in the following month.. but guess what happened?
My BF got an incident from his cruise board, GLOBBY, and he needed to get stitches done on his chin.. plus bad bad bad injuries on his both left and right hand...

I partly blame myself for this, I was the one who rushing him to get out of the house and go to work.. In bold, one more time, i rushed him to get out the house and catch the train, literally...!! what a stupid GF i am..

Anyway, i wanted to share lil bit of my knowledge about this incidents.. Facts that i got from the hospital..
1. first aid that you have to do is to stop the bleed by putting pressure on it
2. ice does not work in stopping a bleeding injuries, in fact if its dirty, it might cause some infection
3. you need to get a tetanus injection if u haven't got it in the last 10 or so years (this is serious, people actually die from tetanus)
4. tetanus injection might cause pain like sour arm for couple of days (it is because the injection get into the muscle)
5. apparently, emergency room is not so emergency for the staff at all
6. you can get a certificate to be given to your working place stating the reasons you couldn't work and until when
7. you HAVE to keep the stitches area DRY at ALL TIME
8. you need to change the dressing in the clinic every two or three days
9. sometimes the stitches area might still bleed a bit, which means it has not recover fully
10. you only need a nurse to do the check up instead of an actual doctor

Well, at least i learned something from this incident and i really feel bad, and hope he will recover quickly..
Let's hope May ends with a sweet good night kiss, and welcoming June june june..

PS: He is having an ielts exam this Saturday and Im a bit worried if he can write properly in terms of time constraint and the wounds on his hand..
