Today supposed to be the day where I finally close May with a sweet memories and fires for my thesis writing in the following month.. but guess what happened?
My BF got an incident from his cruise board, GLOBBY, and he needed to get stitches done on his chin.. plus bad bad bad injuries on his both left and right hand...

I partly blame myself for this, I was the one who rushing him to get out of the house and go to work.. In bold, one more time, i rushed him to get out the house and catch the train, literally...!! what a stupid GF i am..

Anyway, i wanted to share lil bit of my knowledge about this incidents.. Facts that i got from the hospital..
1. first aid that you have to do is to stop the bleed by putting pressure on it
2. ice does not work in stopping a bleeding injuries, in fact if its dirty, it might cause some infection
3. you need to get a tetanus injection if u haven't got it in the last 10 or so years (this is serious, people actually die from tetanus)
4. tetanus injection might cause pain like sour arm for couple of days (it is because the injection get into the muscle)
5. apparently, emergency room is not so emergency for the staff at all
6. you can get a certificate to be given to your working place stating the reasons you couldn't work and until when
7. you HAVE to keep the stitches area DRY at ALL TIME
8. you need to change the dressing in the clinic every two or three days
9. sometimes the stitches area might still bleed a bit, which means it has not recover fully
10. you only need a nurse to do the check up instead of an actual doctor

Well, at least i learned something from this incident and i really feel bad, and hope he will recover quickly..
Let's hope May ends with a sweet good night kiss, and welcoming June june june..

PS: He is having an ielts exam this Saturday and Im a bit worried if he can write properly in terms of time constraint and the wounds on his hand..

Finally found a light in my academic life =)

Today i just went for my other supervising day,
and to be honest, with not enough preparaton, but very good and on fire mood..
and the result was ah-mah-zing!!
On my 15mins bus trip from Clayton to Caulfield, i settled down my experimental design..
I based my plan by combining two papers, plus a bit of my domain knowledge, and *magic*!! I finally found a light on the steps to do for my thesis..
Now i just need to maintain my GOOD MOOD and ON FIRE mode for-ever.. until it finished..
I am happy, my supervisor is happy, my day is awesome..

I realized what a mood can do to my life,
my equation so far:

good mood + good brain = ON FIRE
good mood + no brain = HAPPY
bad mood + good brain = DISASTER
bad mood + no brain = MISERY

So, gotta keep this brain working and maintain my mood..

Edge of Desire

Young and full of running
Tell me where has that taken me?
Just a great figure eight or a tiny infinity?

Love is really nothing
But a dream that keeps waking me,
For all of my trying
We still end up dying, how can it be?

Don't say a word just come over and lie here with me,
'Cause I'm just about to set fire to everything I see,
I want you so bad, I'll go back on the things I believed,
There I just said it, I'm scared you'll forget about me.

So young and full of running, all the way to the edge of desire
Steady my breathing, silently screaming,
"I have to have you now"
Wired and I'm tired
Think I'll sleep in my clothes on the floor
Maybe this mattress will spin on its axis and find me on yours

Don't say a word just come over and lie here with me
'Cause I'm just about to set fire to everything I see
I want you so bad I'll go back on the things I believe
There I just said it, I'm scared you'll forget about me

Don't say a word just come over and lie here with me
'Cause I'm just about to set fire to everything I see
I want you so bad I'll go back on the things I believe
There I just said it, I'm scared you'll forget about me

on Chadstone VIP day

I love my life.. I love my family.. I love my friends... and I love my BF..
I got a very long and fun chat with my bestfriend here in Melbourne, Marcia last night, and we both ended up sleeping at 3.30AM.. What a record for me, knowing my lately life time schedule with early sleep and early wake up time.. Thank you cia... =D

Anyway, I woke up this morning (yup, morning, 9.45am) because my mom called.. the conversation was quite fun, made me fully awake.. so i decided to take a shower, clean up my room a bit and then my other friend, Tommy woke up and asked me to accompany him to city.. and my point is..... "I STILL LOVE MY LIFE"

end of the day, i went to chadstone for AGAIN another VIP day without any plan to buy anything and any plan to meet anyone.. I felt so tired but still happy, until I found this one dress accidently in SUPRE, and I decided to wear it for my friends bday dinner tomorrow night.. anyway, might be using my boot from last TONY BIANCO sale (*what am i now, SALE girl??? hahaha)

luv luv luv my life...

When winter is coming to town..

Few facts about myself lately:
1. Non stop fatty, creamy, "gluten-y", "junk-y" food fed into my boddy
2. Resulting in severe soar throat
3. Drinking way too much Lo Han Kuo (the most powerful soar throat medicine ever)
4. Having trouble going to the toilet regularly
5. End up gaining almost 2kg in less than 10days
that is what winter can do to me... really, hey you winter, i just realized how powerful u are..

Anyway, i want to start being a good girl.. Oh yes, i always said that.. But really, this time, i really want to do it.. i want to be an expert in time management, team work, being a solid friend and girl friend, polite, and loveable.. JESUS CHRIST, AMEN...!

and the plan is:
1. healthy food and drink only! water, juice, milk, tea, and coffee
2. being positive, +++++, positive, +++++
3. being nice, cheerful, and p o l i t e
4. being responsible and diligent
5. exercise more (*how happy my BF will be if he actually read it..)
6. pray more

live a life with laugh and peace, and u'll be fine

fine, this is a short post only.. but it means a lot if i can make it.. really.. so pray for me you guys =)

Why Make it So Hard?

Recent Changes in General Skilled Migration, again guys....
Link here...

Minister's announcement of new Skilled Occupations List – 17 May

On 17 May 2010, the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Senator Chris Evans, announced the list of occupations included in the new Skilled Occupation List (SOL). The introduction of a new list of occupations is part of a package of reforms that reflects the Government's commitment to a labour market demand-driven Skilled Migration Program.
Temporary suspension of certain General Skilled Migration (GSM) applications – 7 May

The Australian Government has decided to temporarily suspend the acceptance of certain General Skilled Migration (GSM) visa applications. This temporary measure will begin on 8 May 2010 and is expected to remain in effect until the end of 30 June 2010.

The temporary suspension applies only to primary (main) applicants for the following visa subclasses:

* Subclass 175 – Skilled Independent (Migrant) visa
* Subclass 176 – Skilled Sponsored (Migrant) visa
* Subclass 475 – Skilled Regional Sponsored (Provisional) visa.

There are new arrangements for the provision of evidence for English language ability. Applicants for the following GSM subclasses have until the time of decision to provide evidence of their English language ability.
* Skilled – Independent (Residence) visa (subclass 885)
* Skilled – Sponsored (Residence) visa (subclass 886)
* Skilled – Independent (Migrant) visa (subclass 175)
* Skilled – Sponsored (Migrant) visa (subclass 176)
* Skilled – Provisional (Regional Sponsored) visa (subclass 475)
* Skilled – Provisional (Recognised Graduate) visa (subclass 476)
* Skilled – Provisional (Graduate) visa (subclass 485) (where the application was made on or after 27 October 2008).

Applicants should not delay in providing their evidence of English language ability. The department will not delay finalising applications where English language test results have not been provided at time of application. Applicants will have 28 days from the date of application to provide their English language results if they did not provide them at time of application. At this point in time, if evidence has not been provided the application will be refused.

There is no change in the requirements for Skilled – Provisional (Graduate) visa (subclass 485) where the application was made before 27 October 2008 or the Skilled Provisional (Regional Sponsored) visa (subclass 487). The applicant must either provide evidence of English language ability at time of application or provide evidence that they have made a booking to undertake an English language test
New administrative arrangements to meet the health requirement when you make your onshore GSM application – 22 March 2010

Applicants for an onshore General Skilled Migration (GSM) visa must show evidence at the time they make their application, that they have made arrangements to undergo a medical examination.

From 22 March 2010, applicants for an onshore GSM visa need only obtain a reference number from Medibank Health Solutions to meet the time of application health requirement. Applicants should phone Medibank Health Solutions and state that they are applying for a GSM visa and request a reference number. This reference number must then be provided as evidence as part of their GSM application.
Note: Applicants must ensure that they retain a copy of this reference number.

Applicants will be requested to undertake a medical examination by their case officer at a later date.

Applicants who have already applied for GSM and have either made a booking for a medical examination or undertaken their medical examination, do not need to obtain a reference number.
Changes to the skills assessment criterion for onshore GSM applicants nominating a trade occupation – 12 March 2010

From 12 March 2010, applicants applying for a subclass 487, 885 or 886 visa will be able to lodge a valid visa application using an existing suitable skills assessment.

Applicants nominating a trade occupation are no longer required to provide a skills assessment dated on or after 1 January 2010.
See: Changes to the Skills Assessment Requirements for GSM Applicants Nominating a Trade Occupation (323KB PDF file)
Minister's announcement on GSM visas – 8 February 2010

On 8 February 2010, the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Senator Chris Evans, announced the following changes to the General Skilled Migration program:

* the outcomes of a review of the Migration Occupations in Demand List (MODL)
* the replacement of the current Skilled Occupation List (SOL) in the second half of 2010
* offshore GSM visas made before 1 September 2007 would be capped and ceased
* priority processing arrangements
* skills assessment requirements for GSM applicants nominating a trade occupation.

Pre 1 January 2010, applicants applying for permanent migration based on one of the onshore General Skilled Migration (GSM) visa subclasses were required, at time of application, to provide evidence that they had applied for a skills assessment by the relevant assessing authority. At time of decision, a suitable skills assessment was required.

From 1 January 2010, applicants applying for one of the following onshore GSM visa subclasses will be required to have obtained a suitable skills assessment prior to applying for migration in order for the application to be valid and assessed by the department for a decision:

* Skilled - Independent (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 885)
* Skilled - Sponsored (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 886)
* Skilled - Regional Sponsored (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 487)

1 January 2010 legislative change – Australian Study Requirement and offshore GSM visa applicants

From 1 January 2010, applicants nominating a trade occupation under one of the offshore GSM visa subclasses are no longer able to meet the Australian Study Requirement when seeking to migrate to Australia. This change impacts on the following visa subclasses:

* Skilled - Independent (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 175)
* Skilled - Sponsored (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 176)
* Skilled - Regional Sponsored (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 475)

Applicants applying for one of the above visa subclasses and who are nominating a trade occupation can only seek to satisfy the work experience criterion. This criterion requires the applicant to have at least 12 months work experience in a skilled occupation in the 24 months immediately prior to applying.

The option for offshore applicants to apply based on meeting the Australian Study Requirement remains open to all other occupations contained on the Skilled Occupation Demand List (SOL).

Sunday Morning It Is....

Sunday morning rain is falling
Steal some covers share some skin
Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable
You twist to fit the mold that I am in
But things just get so crazy living life gets hard to do
And I would gladly hit the road get up and go if I knew
That someday it would lead me back to you
That someday it would lead me back to you

That may be all I need
In darkness she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
Driving slow on Sunday morning
And I never want to leave

Fingers trace your every outline
Paint a picture with my hands
Back and forth we sway like branches in a storm
Change the weather still together when it ends

That may be all I need
In darkness she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
Driving slow on Sunday morning
And I never want to leave

But things just get so crazy living life gets hard to do
Sunday morning rain is falling and I'm calling out to you
Singing someday it'll bring me back to you
Find a way to bring myself back home to you

And you may not know
That may be all I need
In darkness she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
Driving slow on Sunday morning

In the risk of being homeless

I love my BF, he is the one who will stand by me and motivate me whenever i fall and yesterday it is...
and yes, he stayed up all night long helping me by doing a program for my honours project.. and i love him more.. *falling*

Anyway, the apartment I put before was OK, but not so interesting compare to the other one that I inspect later that day..
this apartment located very close to my friends apartment and we got this little nice japanese restaurant infront of it.. it got 3bedrooms, 2bathrooms, 1carspace and the best part is that it is FURNISHED..!
i like this apartment (im scared to say im loving the apartment since many of my friends said that there are no need to be rush when u choose a place to live) but the only problem is that i need to get in asap.. lets say by 1st of june, i have to get the apartment under our name already..

while exam is coming, and my thesis is due very soon, i dont know if i should go for it or not.. and also, i havent got my third person to be my housemate..
i talked to my mom and she told me to apply if i really like it, but she told me to inspect heaps more of apartments.. dont get in a hurry that no one rushing to.. hhhh..

dream VS reality

TONY BIANCO - Whole store 30% off for one day only, 6pm - 9pm at DFO Southwharf Melbourne!!!

Ha.. What a sentence.. Right after my lovely housemate decided to take me to the event, I quickly looked at my calendar and see if I got things to do at that time. Not that I will say NO to my housemate, I just want to cancel it asap towards my future shoes. Haha.. I might be over reacted, but it just happen to be a dream come true in a small scale for me.. I have been waiting to buy this very basic classy black pump shoes and when it goes to basic, I think Tony Bianco is a good option. In fact, now I think it is the best choice and Wittnerr is my second best.

Anyway, one thing that I kind of love from Tony is that they arranged the store based on the sizes. So I can quickly go to my size 6 and 6,5 section and try whatever they got on my sizes. Rarely that they have a size with a model that they wont display.

EXCEPTION is when the sale and promotion event coming. Since everyone acting wild and 8 shop keepers are just not enough, I have to take a good eye on the shoes that I wanted to buy.....

Here is my plan at first:
Black pump can never go wrong, right?
"classic never dies" - my fave sentence atm!

and i think another black shoes wont hurt?
plus its a wedges, which supposed to be super comfy and again this type of material makes the foot looks sexy.. it's the LV vernis kind of sexyness in a foot... haha

and this one is for my friend, ALINA who i share my shoes pashion for my first choice of shoes at the top.. just she got too many black shoes and now she's looking into something like blue metalic or whatever other colour out there..

OK.. BUT, this is reality...
i always love brown beige sand and nude colour, and this one just looks so perfect, believe me! so i decided to take it, so scared that if i put it back, someone next to me will grab it..

I got only two hands, and my bag is quite heavy, plus the aircon has been switched off since the center is closing at its normal time which is 6pm.. i have to take my jacket off cause otherwise i'll be sweating, and i still choose to carry it around while looking for another shoes..

Next story is, the black wedges i wanted to buy does not looks as good as i thought before, and when i tried the black pump heels on my size, it doesnt give me any edgyness and i started to break down.. But, since thats the only one left on my size, i decided again to carry that one around too..

OK, so far I got two pairs of shoes in my hand while looking for the navy heels that my friend wanted.. apparently they dont put that one out for some reason, they only got it on black colour.. but i only found that out after 30mins going around and around.. till i decided just to queu to the register.. let me say, the register queu kind of blocking the store into half different area, and they work really slow.. hosh..

One blink of eye and "tra tra tra tra" i saw this lovely ankle boot with a covered wedge.. i know this one is a new arrival collection and YES! it looks perfect..

no more tears no more confusion and breaking down, i put the other black pump off and get the boots with the wedges up to the register..

So, end up buying these two fabs fabs fabs pairs.. and yes, dream is not the same as reality.. but in my case, reality does not always have to be worst.. it can be sweet too sometime.. =D

and my housemate got this lovely heels (*which I kind of regret not to get one for myself as well - its on sale to $80 and she got extra 30%off, darn it!)

Tomorrow I will have my first city apartment inspection. It is located in 406Latrobe Street, Melbourne. And apparently it is located next to my friends apartment building. Yay...

The apartment is quite big, based on the given pics ofcourse, and its quite nice too. I found it from the Real estate web site here and this is the listing link.
Hopefully this is a good one, and hopefully I will find my third person ASAP.

Dear Diary

I can not understand the way people think..
Lately i feel there were and are too many weird things going on..

I feel that my closest friends here were and are acting differently, either they got problems with me, they hide something from me, or they just dont feel like hanging out with me that much anymore.. I dont even know which one is makes sense..

Then I kind of have this culture shock, should I called, regarding my mom lifestyle back then in Semarang.. Since my sister graduated from high school, and she got her driver license back, plus a car that she can drive wherever and whenever she likes.. my mom and her are going from one place to another "non stoply".. geez i dont even think there is a word called non stoply.. hhhh i guess i want to be part of them..

and last, my BF got this supa dupa busy timetable in his life schedule.. which includes his part time jobs, schools commitment, IE project and some left over time for me (and sometimes I still have to share it with his gaming time, or comic time). Not that I am complaining about it, I kind of get used to it already.. but number 1 and number 2 problems are enough for me.. cant i have my BF 24/7? LOL..

i am lonely.. i feel lonely...

Sex and The City 2

Doesn't it looks wow?
I went to the movie few days ago and yesterday, and I saw the trailer of Sex and The City 2. Argh im waiting for it now.., while watching the series version of it ofcourse =D

My image of the four characters:
In my opinion, I found Charlotte very sweet. She is living in a life where she thinks that she is the princess and that there is a charming prince out there and they will be happily married at the end.. It sounds good, but I found it boring and not realistic at all..
Miranda on the other hand, is the most real picture of reality I guess. There are a lot of womans out there who got life exactly like her. Even her appearances reflect majority of woman out there. Isnt she?
But anyway, Samantha is a bit over the bridge for me. She had this life who I can not believe someone I know might actually be. Maybe because I live in Melbourne, where life is not as wow as New York...!
Well, my fave is Carrie. She's just perfect for me and I love, I really do, love her hair.. From the very first season up till now.. I even think that her first season "christmas tree" hair is amazing..

All pics taken from here, here, here, here, and here,
haha lets see if those hair can actually fit my personalities and face shape

happy 21months

Spending the time at Koko Black - Arcade for 2hours with a cup of flat white, one hot chocolate (which I am more than one hundred percent sure that it taste exactly like Dancow, my old time chocolate milk powder) and a Belgian platter for sharing was supposed to be enough for me. But instead, we went straigh to Taco Bill in bourke st to catch our early dinner. We get this lolely tropical margarita and mexican punch for appetizer accompanied by nachos with hips hips of cheese. Just right before the main meal arrived, I am full already. LOL My burritos and his enchilada was a yum, but I still prefer Mexican Cantina somehow.

Anyway, I love my day yesterday, and happy 21 months huni..

tyra TYRA tyra TYRA

Im in luv with Tyra, I think she is definitely is a one of a kind... in a very good way..
Some pics that I love from Tyra, can not stop uploading more and more, but these are pretty much what I got so far.. =D
Btw, look at the last pics shows her different type of smiles, so true and so funny..

I can not remember where I get all of the pics from, but you can definitely "google" it

down the mountain, UP the HILL, down the mountain, and UP the HILL again!

Today I start my day very early in the morning,
to be exact, it was 8am.

First thing comes first,
get ready for my supervising session in Clayton at 11am!
I have to recap all of the materials that I've prepared the night before and get ready to get a really hard bang on my head. Yes yes yes, as I wrote before, I am very unprepared and very less likely to finish my thesis on time.
The first topic that we talked about was "Do you have any time stamp that you might be able to show to the panel regarding your late retrieval of data for your thesis extension reasons?" Spot on Grace, I am feeling so useless..!
And then the consultation went really bad in my opinion. Not because of anyone, its all because of me not so prepared from the beginning. But I expect it already, what can you say. A sip of coffee and a bite of my blue berry muffin just minutes before she arrived was really helpful though.

Then, time showed 12.45 already, I need to be in Oakleigh for my driving test which is at 1.50pm. But I wanted to have a one last lesson before the actual test, so I made an appointment at 1pm with my instructor, and I just missed the bus that will bring me there. So, cab is a life safiour.. and I paid $17, but I was not late. Dont blame me for the waste of money today.
The test went really well even though I was shocked with the route that my instructor gave me. Ricardo, my instructor said that he had given me pretty much all of the possible routes that I might be directed to, but all of a sudden my test was in a completely different route. Anyway, I passed (*yay yay yay..) and its my second time. I get my 3years license now, and just need to wait for another week or two before the actual card arrive.

Right after, I was so excited that I want to share my excitement with my close friends family BF, whoever! But no one was there!!!! My friend told me that she was in city just right I got myself into my room. My BF was busy reading his comics waiting for his time to go to work. My family are far far away. All that I can do was to call them one by one.. sharing the excitement via this damn phone.. =(
but what can I say, I have to stay positive... thats what my BF always tell me..

I forced myself to clean up my room, do the laundry, cook some "special" dinner (*tomorrow will be our 21months annyversary and I want him to stay until midnite), blogging (*haha...) and do some progress on my honours?

Stop me from murmuring... please..!
Anyway, this is my summary:

Why am i so lazy again?

Hux, I dont know what is wrong with me?
But I hate myself atm.
I am not me at all.

I used to be someone who complaint about school the least in our bunch. Whenever I got unit test and my friends asked me to go somewhere, instead of telling them that I cant go, I decided to just go. At the end of the day, I will study really hard, until the sun is out again and did my unit test just fine. I am not saying that I am a genius or whatever, but I am good enough on what Im doing that I never need to worry about anything.

Now, Im doing my honour project (*biggest regret in my life atm I guess) that requires me to do whole lot of work. I passed the semester where I have to read read read read and read.. I finished almost hundred of journals, not to mention those book chapters and some slides that my supervisor gave me. I did my literature review and presentation of it very close to perfect (or at least I did my best to go for it).

At present time, I am at the state where I have to actually start to get wet on the project and do the experiment instead of just research and research. This supposed to be the most exciting part and the part to have some fun. But no no no no, I did nothing. My 9weeks has passed and I did big big big ZERO for it.
The data is not even finished to be collected. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

My supervisor said that this is the hardest part, which is data exploration and experiment design. But I dont think its the project. I personally think it something inside me that make me can not do it. My laziness...
and yes, the fact that she asked me to program for my data visualization is just making me more nervous. I can program, but I am not an expert.

Im drowning

Yesterday, I got a very fun catch up with a friend from my previous part time job before. She is so nice and what I like most from her is that she is an open minded kind of person. Whatever I tell her, I believe that it will be just between us, and since she is few years older than me, she got way more more experience than me. She taught me many things that I can not even think for. Information that I can use for my PR application, medicare and etc etc...
In short, I loveeee her.

Last Wednesday was her bday, and I get her a jeans that I hope she like. Anyway, she also brought me something..
Her nail polish collection..!!
Yay, since I got quite addicted (just a little, not so much) to nail polish lately, this is a very sweet gift from her. She gave me 10 different nail polish that she said she is not going to use anymore. It is not new, but since we are friends, I really dont mind. The reason she giving it away because she got a bad habit eating her nails off and her BF does not want her to eat the nail polish also. Hahaha.. so she has not used any of her nail polish anymore.
Thanks dear.... I better buy you something nice next time.. =)

So far, this is my nail polish collection atm.. (look at the number of colour that I got before she give away hers)
*most of the nail polish she gave me are nude colour, which I really love lately*

CNN Heroes 2009 - Budi Soehardi

He got a very kind heart and their family is one of a kind..
As a Singapore Airlines pilot, he and his family can travel anywhere around the world in first class with the best airlines every year.., BUT
not only Budi and his wife, his 3kids has sacrifice their privilege every year to help in the orphanage house back there instead..
