its Freezinggggg

Melbourne's weather lately has been quite stabil, but unfortunately (or fortunately?) in a so-not-summer way. This week's going to be a cold one, with quite a lot of rain, like we haven't got enough water running through out Queensland. Im not really a big fan of the sun, but these cold nights give me a lot more temptation to skip work in the morning.

Anyway, my post title is freezing, but its not about the weather. I wanted to talk about my new iPhone 4. For some reason, bad things happen in the most crucial times. Well, yea, am being hyperbole. But let me tell you this first. I got my iphone for around 3weeks, before this big concert day of Buble's. (the concert was awesome) And i have installed some photographic apps in my iPhone, to hopefully capture the moment. Again, am being a lil hyperbole, but its quite true. And yes, as you all can guess, my iPhone camera suddenly freeze (note my post title? yes, this is it!) when we're about to take pictures. And... it freeze up till now. Everytime i open up the camera, the shutter will stay close and close and close ...until im running out of patience and decided not to touch it anymore..

I did a lil search in Google and surprisingly, there are a lot of forums discussing this issue. Apparently this is not a software issue, but hardware. However, there are quite a lot of cases where people can try to restrore their setting to the company ones and got it all worked out. So, i decided to do so, before actually coming to the store and putting some complaint. Worst case, i will walk myself into the Apple store, and hopefully got a new replacement (this is what people are talking about in the forums as well).

So.. wish me luck,
and.. till i post again..

Another gap since my last real post..
This time, many things has happened. Erick has come back to Melbourne, and also my sister, and my friends.. Life is good again, not that it was bad before. Well, it was quite bad not having your close friends around all at once, rite? But now they all here, and Melbourne is getting better and better.

To start with, my senior in my office was offered a new position in the other area, and i got the feeling that he will took the job. Eventhough he has not decided yet, formally, and when he is, there will be three months transition time for him before he can completely leave our division, i feel quite sad about it. If he leave us, it means there will be only 3 of us left in our division, all girls, and those including me and my other newly hired friend. I just can't imagine working with so many things still to learn, while so little resources available. And am kind of used to the way my senior teach me stuff, and my other senior might have different style rite? Well, im not hoping that my senior wont leave us, but am kind of hoping he'll still be around for me to ask questions all the time. *oops* is this bad? i should ask questions to the staff in our own division, isnt it?

Then, there's this news, that one of my bestfriend from my hometown will come for a visit to Melbourne around the end of March. She once had a plan to continue her culinary study in here, but for some reason have to cancel it (or postpone it, i'll say *still hoping*). So now she will be around for a quick catch up and a lil tour with me before she's heading to her uncle's place somewhere in Brisbane or Perth, i can not remember. So, something to look forward for next month ya? =)

My sister will move out from her homestay and leave in the city from onwards. She seems pretty excited about it, and I can't blame her. Everything is more lively in the city then the suburbs. But, its good that she've spent sometime living in the suburb too. I feel that people dont really know Melbourne if they never leave in the suburbs, for some reason.
Btw, my brother has gone back to Indonesia for good, and he is now working in the office with my dad developer, as a team. Things look pretty good over there, and my parent seems so happy too. So i can only say "am happy for them" too. He is now having a holiday to Thailand with his friends, but soon after he got back, he should have start working on those projects that he leaves behind before.

Erick is having a new job, and its been a week now. He is having a good time and learning quite a lot of new stuff that he wont even touch before. This including accounting, haha. His current role is a sales assistant, but soon when a networking job comes up, he was told that he might be asked to help on it with their IT guy, which btw he happen to know before he work there. So, lets hope things get sorted out pretty well over there.

Last, i've been going to this dance class for quite some time now, and i kind of like it again. But my only concern is, there's this one guy that join the class. He is kind of smelly and got wet hands, so everytime we change partner, i dont really feel comfortable dancing with this guy. But what can i say rite? I just need to pull myself together, and start enjoying the dance itself. =)
Wish me luck

..till i post again..

Train - Marry Me

Forever can never be long enough for me
Feel like I've had long enough with you
Forget the world now, we won't let them see
But there's one thing left to do

Now that the weight has lifted
Love has surely shifted my way

Marry me today and every day
Marry me if I ever get the nerve to say hello in this cafe
Say you will, say you will

Together can never be close enough for me
Feel like I am close enough to you
You wear white and I'll wear out the words I love you
And you're beautiful

Now that the wait is over
And love and has finally shown her my way

Marry me today and every day
Marry me if I ever get the nerve to say hello in this cafe
Say you will, say you will

Promise me you'll always be happy by my side
I promise to sing to you when all the music dies

And marry me today and everyday
Marry me if I ever get the nerve to say hello in this cafe
Say you will, say you will marry me

Early February Update

and happy Chinese New Year.
I know its a little too late but as the old man says, "better late than never", rite?

So, this has been 1 week from when my BF fly back to Indo. It feels really weird at first. Things look different without him being around. I guess I spent just a lil too much time with him already, that i feel really left out alone. Anyway, 2 more weeks to go, and then we're gonna be back together with more fun. Ciayo me..

It is good, getting better, getting busier, hopefully getting more fun as well.
and btw, i already got my new keyboard and laser mouse from my manager, and am loving it.

Anyway, i got my own private precious time this weekend, and am kind of proud of myself. Im doing a lot of things in just one day. Or should i say one evening. And yes, it does includes some cooking and hell lot of exercise. (in case my BF reading this post, he'll be smiling real wide) I let myself wake really late this afternoon, and quickly have some brunch, and... chop chop.. start doing all of those stack of work i've been putting away.

It teach me one important lesson, i guess.
It doesn't matter how much work you have, you will always have enough time.
You just need to have the willingness to do it.
I wish i can keep this one in mind, so i can start getting everything in place on time.

Anyway, i even got some extra time for myself and i accidently looking at these tutorial videos from Youtube. I learn a lot of things from it. And learning always is good, isnt it? Except, that now, I feel like shopping shopping and shopping for more.. (ha..!) I amazed of how good those youtube gurus (is this even the right term they're using?) can be. They has the knowledge, they has the willingness to share it, and even dedicate some time to actually put it all in one nice video. I wish I can be one of them later on (or not?). But for now, I'll just be the audience. A good one though, the one who's going to actually implement the knowledge. And not just watch and leave it somewhere. Haha...

This one is one of the good tutorial that I think is practical and usefull.
I'll probably check for some more videos later on too.
