Check list:

What a messy girl, i am.
I keep losing my note.
I write it down somewhere about the list of IKEA products i wanted to buy for my room.

Well, anyway, here, I decided to re-write the list. And hopefully, i didn't miss a thing (*eventhough i have the tendency of keep adding stuff)

1. Table Lamp - $8.99
Why i need it? Since i left my broken one at my old house, so im officially missing a table lamp for my room. This 3weeks, i tried to use my study lamp but its just too bright. So, checked! its on the list (*Im buying the smallest one)

2. Bedside Table - $39.99
Where can you put ur table lamp without a bedside table? *well argued*

3. Alarm Clock - $6.99 or $16,99
I dont know which one im having, but i've been envying digital clock since ever. But $10 difference surely make me think, and you also get to see this catchy colour that the normal clock have. Well, lets lee later which one will I grab to be put *back to number 2* on my bedside table..

4. Photo Frame - $4.99
Well, i might not need it. But who knows? If I got $5 extra, I will surely buy it.
Anyway, i think the bedside table is quite large and a photo frame wont hurt.

5. Vase - $2.99
Hm.. it should be useful somehow,
and might add a lil colour to my room..

6. Low pile rug - $12.99
The wood flooring in my apartment starting to drive me crazy..
I can not have my swivle chair stop from moving around while im trying to do some work on my desktop, *yea just like now*
Definitely need one ~~~


Not a very long list, i guess..
but who knows what might happen later..

....it is nice to be home

hahaha...
it ended nicely..
i got my sofabed, dining table and everything sent to my place,
eventhough i change my removalist..

funny story is,
my removalist is kind of a "flirty kind of guy"
he asked me what will i do if he can not make it this morning?
and i replied "maybe just cancel it, move it to another day or so.."
and he said "oow? really? ur so lucky, because you called me very early in the morning and am still sleeping. but i heard a very beautiful voice, asking for some help if i can make it this morning at 9am"
o m g, what a flirty guy he is..

and then he still saying
"if the one who called me was a male, i would definitely ignored the job, ur so lucky"
hhhhh..

the fact is, he got a job at Glen Waverly at 9am to 10am,
and i asked him to come at 10.15am at city,
and he made it at 10.20am..
and then we was rushing because he needed to go to the airport to pick up some customers..
and it was at 12pm..

i said to him "good business, uh?"
"very good"
well, at least he is a hard worker
and he did his job well..
anyway, yes am flattered,
but, no am not interested,
am not an easy to bully kind of girl =)

afterall,
yay! what a great day..
now this is what i called home,
with TV, SOFA, DINING TABLE
am ready to rock n roll hahahaha

What a great day to start the week, until...

Ok, i woke up 7.15am in the morning to wake my BF for his work,
and we chit chat a bit about random stuff until he has to actually go to work,
*see, so far im loving this Monday*

and i have to actually wake my other friend who has agreed to help me..
We, me and my friend, are supposed to be at Melbourne Tower to pick up some furniture,
and yes, with my removalist..

You know what happen?
My removalist called at 8am saying that he is sick and he is sorry,
he got no other man to replace him,
and he suggested me just to change the time till tomorrow or the day after tomorrow..
geezzzz, cant he just be sick at other day? im so wanting this to be done today..

So i decided to call another removalist,
and the only one who can make it for such a short notice (its 1hour before) is this guy,
well, i got his number from my university ads web, and lets hope he can finish the job nicely..
*finger crossed i will close the day with a smile*

Finally, a place i called HOME

Yup, i decided to make a post specially about my (*finally have one) new home..

After the long and tiring apartment hunting,
with heaps of applications that i sent,
many scanning and photocopying of documents,
many many many phonecalls,
and many other many that i can not recall now,
i finally got this one
the apartment itself named "Promenade"

Have to admit it here, this apartment might not be my first preference at all,
but due to the time constraint of being homeless for too long,
and many other considerations, WE finally agreed to apply for this one..

and turns out it is not bad at all..
im actually loving my new place..
with the view,
the environment,
my housemates,
and everything..



i wanted to upload my own pics,
but i decided not to, since im not done with furnishing,
anyway the floorplan explain it better..
you can see, my room is the one with a walk in robe and bathroom inside..

the living room is quite big,
making me wanting to buy more and more stuff to fill it in..
and with a wood floor instead of carpet,
i feel like i need to buy a lot of rugs..
just like these ones i found in IKEA maybe?
pretty one, and simple one..


and yes yes yes,
i bought sofa and TV for sure,
some glass top dining table,
and still wanting to add a little bit of extra here and there

oh my,
i need to start making money,
help!

shit happen

did not get through for the apartment i've been applying for..
i should have know that they will accept the first applicant better..

now i start to think about where can i move to for the next two days..
yup! 2 d a y s!! its 28th already, and the new tenant of my room will be moving really soon..

i dont really worried about me sleeping literally, but i am worried about my stuff, desks, beds, desktop, etc.. i still have this thesis going on, and please help me!

Try to find a HOME not a HOUSE

Oh My,
its 18th of June already,
means I got 12 days only to pack and move to city..

the problem?
I dont know where to go just yet..
A friend of mine told me that finding apartment is an "easy but hard" to get kind of thing..
When you got enough time, you'll be picky,
but you have to remember,
at the end, you might run out of time,
and end up having a so-so apartment only..
which is not what I want..

my defense?
i want to live in a place where i can feel like being home,
not just some random place to live..
i want a home, not house..
... i wish I know where I'll be moving to..

So,
today will be another inspectionSS day,
and I wanted to be effective..
this time the apartment will be all around South Bank,
and yes I know, there will be hell lot of Indonesians there..
* which I dont know suppose to be good or bad *

and as always,
this one is my favorite so far..
I know this apartment is still new,
and thats what I like about it =)
hope this one will suits us best *finger cross*

apartment hunting : f u n !

one more time, JUNE is here...
it means, one more month before i move to city..
it means, two or three weeks until apartment hunting to begin..

so far, i got an eye of these apartments..

and am not going to put all of their pics..
because i particularly like this one...
not that im close minded towards the others,
and before inspection,
no one ever know what its going to look like really...

but, so far these are my supporting reasons:
1. affordable price
2. location - heart of CBD
3. close to any public transport
4. last, not least - hopefully, nice place

In the risk of being homeless

I love my BF, he is the one who will stand by me and motivate me whenever i fall and yesterday it is...
and yes, he stayed up all night long helping me by doing a program for my honours project.. and i love him more.. *falling*

Anyway, the apartment I put before was OK, but not so interesting compare to the other one that I inspect later that day..
this apartment located very close to my friends apartment and we got this little nice japanese restaurant infront of it.. it got 3bedrooms, 2bathrooms, 1carspace and the best part is that it is FURNISHED..!
i like this apartment (im scared to say im loving the apartment since many of my friends said that there are no need to be rush when u choose a place to live) but the only problem is that i need to get in asap.. lets say by 1st of june, i have to get the apartment under our name already..

while exam is coming,and my thesis is due very soon, i dont know if i should go for it or not.. and also, i havent got my third person to be my housemate..
i talked to my mom and she told me to apply if i really like it, but she told me to inspect heaps more of apartments.. dont get in a hurry that no one rushing to.. hhhh..

Inspection

Tomorrow I will have my first city apartment inspection. It is located in 406Latrobe Street, Melbourne. And apparently it is located next to my friends apartment building. Yay...

The apartment is quite big, based on the given pics ofcourse, and its quite nice too. I found it from the Real estate web site here and this is the listing link.
Hopefully this is a good one, and hopefully I will find my third person ASAP.
