i am on My Fitness Pal

last weekend, a friend of mine introduce me to this app on iPhone..
This apps basically helps you to monitor the number of calorie that you had for the day..
at first, it ask you questions like your weight, height, daily normal activity, and your plan of exercise.. it was not easy at first, as the more precise you are, the better your counting is.. but the downside is, you might be surprised at how much calorie you got just by eating a burger..

it calculates my daily calorie needs, which is 1200. it was ok on my first day, but then i got 450calorie over on the next one.. hopefully this will help me to be on track with my diet plan..

so,lets see if i can keep it at least for a month..

i just dont understand how people care so much about having it from the very first day of its release..
cant they wait for 1 or 2 weeks so that they dont have to queue like this..

I am so not proud of myself for this..
how come i become victim of Marketing Campaign, again and again..

Couple of weeks ago, a friend of mine told me that Hoyts and Village had this special deals to buy online movie ticket for only $7 (normally its around $11, or even $15 on weekend). So i was so excited, and dont even bother to think much, and decided to buy 6 of those. See here, my only consideration was: i wont watch movie by myself, so at least Erick will go with me, which means 2 tickets at a time, and i consider 3 movies are not so much. and then what happen?
The ticket will expire on the first week of April. This means i only got around 3-4weeks left, and this 3-4 weeks have been really busy for both of us.. i ends up forcing him to watch movie with me eventhough the time was not too convenient for both of us..
i know, i am acting silly

So that was one, then what else?
Another good friend of mine once told me a website thats having a one day sale of many the good sport shoes brand. I realized it includes Converse and Havaianas. I quickly told Erick, as he's been talking a lot about buying new shoes (and it has to be Converse) and Holly, as I know she's been looking for good price in Converse as well. Then what happen with me? The website mention something about combine delivery. So i figure, i have to buy something for myself as well, so that I wont miss this big chance. This will make everyone happy too, cause it means less delivery cost for them as well, rite?
Turns out, again, the delivery cost was increased when there were more items added. Again, i have already decided to buy that I dont feel like cancelling it.
I am a very easy customer to target, am i not? zzzzz....

and there were more and more stories, but i guess enough about me being a victim of marketing here..
i promised myself not to fall into those ads easily anymore..
..at least am tryin not to,..

She was h.e.r.e

Lets wonder where I've been lately..
I feel like I have never got enough time for myself alone lately,
but its for good reason.. nothing's bad, everything's good..

For starter,
I did not go to Chadstone's last VIP sale (ah mah zing), instead I went to Chadstone one day after that to come to my Apple Genius Bar appointment..
I know, i know.. stupid me why not making appointment on the VIP sale day instead..
I dont know where my mind was, but I totally forgot about it when making my appointment..
Niwei, i went to the Genius Bar at around 7.15pm hoping that its not that busy so that I can slip in to make my appointment early..
I hope it would have worked that way, so I can watch a movie afterwards with Erick and get a nice dinner.. I was so persistant, that I dont want to go, eventhough the girl in the Genius Bar mentioned there's very lil chance I will get an earlier time..
Turns out, I got my appointment set to 8pm (its suppose to be 8.10pm) and then quickly buy our movie ticket (this persistancy about watching a movie is for another story, that i will talk about later on) and grab dinner..
We finished movie at around 11ish, and the next morning I was so darn tired at work, sleepy and careless.. (ha..!)
It's all wont be worthed, except that... *drumroll* I got a new replacement iPhone on the spot.. yay me... =)
so that's one update from me..

She is my bestie, and she gave me a visit from Indo..
dont ask how long she stayed here for.....
fine, its only for the weekend..
and that is why i was so frustated about where to bring her to.. there's too many things going on in Melb, and I want her to know everything.. i dont know, if at the end of the day i only make her tired, or uncomfortable, or whateva kind of feeling thats not nice..
but i know for sure, am having a good time while she's around..
We went to have dinner at Ying Thai (classy, i know).. and some iconic visits (Flinders, Parliament, Melbourne Central, city..) and some shopping (she is a shoes freak as well - a fact that I just noticed about her)
She is now in Brisbane, or somewhere close to it with her cousins..
hopefully she enjoy her visit..
